FOOTLIGHT DANCE CENTRE was founded in 1984. A professional conservatory for dance instruction in the Wood River Valley with studios: Ketchum – Studio Move & Hailey - Community Campus/Grange Hall. Ages 4 -Adult offering Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Tap, Creative Movement, Pilates Conditioning, summer workshops with guests artists and performing opportunities throughout the year. Footlight Dance Company is our pre-professional company with dancers from the Junior and Senior Company levels performing.
MISSION STATEMENT: Exposing children to the best possible dance education including technical understanding, historical basis and analytical thinking skills.
We encourage respect while we enjoy dance, working towards understanding and executing movement in a variety of styles. As artists of movement we want to stimulate and contribute to our human spirit.
