World Spay Day
The Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley is participating in World Spay Day by hosting two spay and neuter clinics with the goal of increasing the number of animals who receive these services. The Shelter will be hosting a dogs only clinic on Friday, February 22nd and a cat specific clinic on World Spay Day Tuesday, February 26th. In addition to reaching the goal of spaying or neutering 26 animals the Shelter is holding this event is to bring awareness of the benefits spaying and neutering can have for pets, their owners, and the community.
How You Can Help
-If you are a Blaine County resident and your cat is not yet spayed or neutered, call now to make a free appointment for World Spay Day! Space is available on a first come, first served basis. Call the Shelter at 788-4351 to make your appointment, or for more information.
-Help save lives by making a donation in honor of World Spay Day to help underwrite the Animal Shelter’s no-cost community spay/neuter clinic. Send checks to the Animal Shelter at PO Box 1496, Hailey, ID 83333, or make a donation online at www.animalshelterwrv.org and select “Spay/Neuter Clinic” in the program designation box.
