“I am a Citizen of the Planet”, says Childs. “My purpose is to inspire! It is time for us to shine and shimmer, and blast the doors off the hinges to our personal cages of limitation! This is our year if we choose it, let’s declare it and have the guts to claim it!”
Toni Childs has been deep into writing, recording, and posting daily video streams of her recording sessions in Victoria BC, with Producer Joby Baker, and musicians Bear Erikson (guitar) and Chris Van Sickle (key boards). All three will be joining Toni in Idaho with Joby playing bass, Jason Cook on drums and Nathan Cwik on rhythm guitar. If you ever wanted to see what it takes to record an album of music here is your opportunity to be a fly on the wall. Join Toni in the studio at www.hawaiistream.com/video/464
“Hooking up with Producer Joby Baker was the missing piece in my evolution pie. I could not be happier with how the album is cooking up. I feel that I’ve stepped thru a wormhole - into a whole new vibrant sound. This is what you hope to do as an artist: grow, evolve, take chances, and fly. It’s been important to me to make an album that I felt is relevant to our time. I feel with Citizens of the Planet I can say this is what I’m doing.”
Concert goers can expect to hear Childs perform a variety of her blockbuster hits,as well as showcase songs from her latest album, Keep The Faith. The songs from this emotionally hard-hitting album are a blend of roots, rock and pop.
