Creative writing master class cosponsored by the Community Library, Boise State University and the Sun Valley Center for the Arts. Boise State professor Clyde Moneyhun, author of Crafting Fiction: In Theory, In Practice, will first lead participants through a series of brainstorming exercises keyed to the elements of fiction. The exercises will help writers more fully imagine their fictional characters and the worlds they inhabit. Then, re-thinking/re-writing exercises will help the writers re-imagine elements of their stories in unexpected ways. Any writer, from beginner to professional, can emerge from the workshop with useful new tools, and—just maybe—a new story.
