Event Description:
This presentation will review the events that led to Japanese American confinement during World War II and examine the history of the Minidoka Relocation Center located in South Central Idaho. Professor Tremayne will evaluate the meaning and significance of Minidoka for Idaho and the nation. Dr. Russ Tremayne is a native Idahoan and has been teaching history for over 30 years.
