The Community Library Lit Crawl
THE Community LIBRARY LIT CRAWL, August 20, 2015
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Community Library is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a new event called the “The Library Lit Crawl – Celebrating 60 Years of Literacy, Literature & History.” The goal is to highlight how literacy enriches our community by creating a journey which invites individuals to explore the Library, Goldmine Consign, Goldmine Thrift and The Sun Valley Museum of History in a fun and interactive way.
Ech stop will host food, refreshments and a celebration of literature by featuring authors (primarily local) and readings.
Participants will be enticed to stroll through Ketchum, going from location to location. We envision other activities such as a juried children’s art competition, face painting, open mic, letter writing, music and more. Because we want this to be an inclusive, affordable celebration, we’re anticipating ticket prices to be around $5 – Individual, $10 – Couple, $15 – Family.
The intention is for “The Library Lit Crawl” to be an annual, premier community event.
