10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sheep Folklife Fair

Traditional dance, fiber festival, classes, folk art, music food and demonstrations.
• Peruvian musicians and dancers
• Oinkari Basque dancers
• Boise Highlanders, bagpipers and drummers
• Polish Highlanders of Chicago, musicians and dancers
• Sheep shearing
• Sheep wagon displays
• Spinning and weaving demonstrations
• Children’s activities
• Wool and craft shops
 

Children’s fiber classes

A host of new children’s fiber classes are being offered at the Folklife Fair this year.  Don’t miss them.

Wagon Rides to the Sheepdog Trials
Provided by Laura Sluder and Blue Sage Farms.  $5.00 adults, $3.00 children.
 

Lamb Feast at the Folklife Fair

Join the finest chefs in the Wood River Valley for a variety of scrumptious lamb lunch specials.   Available for purchase at Roberta McKercher Park in Hailey.  11:00 am – 4:00 pm or until they run out!

 
Lamb Feast chefs, restaurants and menus
Chef Tim Filgate.  Lamb burger with yam/sweet potato chips
CK's.   Lamb ribs with apple buttermilk and blue cheese coleslaw
Fresshies.  Lamb and apple sausage over white beans with lemon and thyme.
Full Moon Catering.  Lamb Samosas (lamb-filled pastries) with a mango chutney dipping sauce. 
Power House.  Lamb carnitas with small green salad.

Described by the New York Times as "probably the nation's most successful living poet", this year's festival will host the talented and comedic, Baxter Black!  Friend and musician, Hal Cannon will perform with Baxter.
