Event Description:
Join Jessica Banks, Certified Waldorf teacher and current Mountain School Kindergarten teacher, for An Introduction to Child Development inspired by Waldorf eduation for you and your child. The class will be held over 4 Saturday mornings from Feb. 23rd - March 16th at The Mountain School from 9am -11am.
Experience the rhythm of indoor free work and play, circle time with songs, nursery rhymes, finger plays and movement, baking, snack, storytime with puppets and outside play on our beautiful farm. Learn from sharing insights and observations as well as having readings and discussions of articles that explain the Waldorf approach toward the young child.
Expect topics of: Play, dicipline, rhythm and routines, sleep, nutrition and effects of media on small children.
