Event Description:
The Hailey Public Library will host a free memoir writing workshop with author and award-winning journalist Tony Tekaroniake Evans on Tuesdays, January 17, 24, 31 and February 7 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at Town Center West. The workshop will cover basic planning and explorations for autobiographical writings. It will include weekly writing assignments and sharing of work that will address themes, characters, locations, tone of voice and overall writing goals. Attendees are encouraged to bring to class works-in-progress and to reflect on one another’s writing in a supportive and creative atmosphere.
