Event Description:
Korby Lenker is a singer, songwriter, author, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist now based in Nashville. Korby has performed internationally and has shared the stage with such legends as Willie Nelson and Ray Lamontagne, as well as Nickel Creek, Tristan Prettyman, Susan Tedeschi, and many others. He’s had wins in the Merlefest folk songwriting contest as well as the Kerrville Folk Festival’s elite New Folk songwriting competition and can often be heard on legendary Seattle indie rock station KEXP. He is here celebrating the release of his 7th album, Thousand Springs, which got its start last spring in Southern Idaho as Korby recorded base tracks everywhere from the basement of the mortuary to a cabin north of Ketchum. While here, Korby will be working with students from Wood River High School.
