Handel’s Messiah
December 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium
The CSI Chamber Choir and the Magic Valley Chorale, accompanied by the Magic Valley Chamber Orchestra will present Handel's Messiah Part I and the Hallelujah Chorus and a medley of well-known Christmas Carols. Directed by Carson Wong and Joseph Casperson, the concert will feature Rachael Larson, Leigh Heward, Daralynn Crozier Schenkel, John Mauldin and Michael Collins as soloist and will be preceded by an informal talk by Dr. George Halsell of the CSI Music Department on Handel’s Messiah, An Owner’s Manual at 7:00 p.m. Admissions are: $10.00 per adult; $8.00 per seniors and $5.00 per student. Tickets will be available at the CSI box office.
