Event Description:
Ham radio instructor Joe Yelda and Todd and Ellen Mandeville will demonstrate how to choose and use a ham radio in this free, hands on workshop. Participants will learn how to study to become a certified operator and where to take the test. The free workshop will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Town Center West, 116 W Croy Street. Enrollment limited; preregister by emailing kristin.fletcher@haileypubliclibrary.org. Attendance at So, You Want to be a Ham Radio Operator on 11/14 is encouraged.
