Head to the hill on Sunday afternoon for a St. Paddy's-themed treasure hunt at the Rotarun beacon park! This is an interactive activity for parents and children to utilize avalanche safety tools to simulate a "treasure hunt". Each beacon hidden in the snow will have a hidden treat to uncover. The beacon park has explicit instructions on how to utilize the transceivers, though a staff member and volunteer will be on-site to provide guidance on transceiver use. The event is free and family friendly. The breakfast cookout begins at 12pm and the scavenger hunt begins at 1pm. Transceivers will be available to borrow from the Friends of Sawtooth Avalanche center between 1-3pm.
