Marla Hansen, Artistic Director - Co-Founding IDT in 1989, Marla has choreographed over 68 ballets for IDT. She is an Associate Professor at Boise State University under the Theater Arts program, directing the dance minor, and the BSU-IDT “Summer DanceFest”. She choreographs for the BSU Musical Theater department with productions including Cabaret, Pippin, Cinderella, Pirates of Penzance, to name a few. She has her masters in Dance from BYU. Yurek Hansen, Dancer - Born in Boise, has danced 14 seasons with Idaho Dance Theatre, LED and other dance projects in the NW and across the US. Yurek has taught at Footlight, including performing at the SV Summer Symphony. He is an adjunct faculty at BSU in the dance department. In addition to ballet and modern, his training includes Suzuki actor method, Viewpoints with Anne Bogarts SITI Co. and multiple martial arts and dance forms, including African. Sam Mughrabi, Dancer - originated as a hip hop dancer in San Francisco with Funk Beyond Control. He spent a year training at the Alvin Ailey Theatre and placed in the Capezio Ace Awards. Now at 23, Sam is a dancer and choreographer with Idaho Dance Theatre. Taylor Munson, Dancer - Taylor has been with IDT for two years. She is a Boise native and trained at Focus Dance Ensemble, Dance Arts Academy, Pivotal Dance Company and Echo School of Dance. This past fall she choreographed a major work for IDT, Love to Cher, and received rave reviews
