Event Description:
A panel of experts, including Mountain Humane’s Senior Director Kelly Mitchell will be presenting the topic of "Contemporary Sheltering: Adoption and Beyond" at The Community Library on April 7 at 6 pm. The ever-broadening scope of the work being done at Mountain Humane to give companion animals and their families the best life possible is exciting. We are looking forward to sharing the story! Panelists will include: Kelly Mitchell, Senior Director - Shelter Operations and Outreach Mountain Humane; Rachel Thompson, Program Manager, Operations and Strategy of Pets for Life (PFL) at The Humane Society of the United States, an organization focused on increasing equity and access to pet resources for people living in poverty and those in underserved communities; and Marta Pierpoint, Executive Director, Humane Society of Western Montana. The panel will be moderated by Annie McCauley, Executive Director of Mountain Humane.
