The 7th annual Family of Woman Film Festival in Sun Valley will take place March 7-9, 2014, at the Sun Valley Opera House. The festival supports the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which works in over 150 countries to achieve a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.

For 2014, the Family of Woman Film Festival will bring a selection of highly acclaimed international documentary and dramatic films with their filmmakers from Brazil, Mali, Afghanistan, Jordan, India and the U.S. focusing on the importance of education to the advancement of women and girls.

In the past, the Family of Woman Film Festival has presented films on several important international issues including Women and War, Women and the Arab Spring and Women and the Environment. This year’s event looks to build on the successes of the last six years.
