The Chamber Announces Its New Vice President to Serve for the Remainder of 2017
Local business owner currently serves as a director on the board

Hailey, ID - Todd Hunter, owner and operator of Idaho Lumber in Hailey, will complete the year on The Chamber’s board of directors as vice president and lead the organization in 2018 as its next president. The vice president’s position was recently vacated by local attorney, Jon Volyn, who is leaving the valley next month.

“We’re excited to have Todd take the helm, as The Chamber is becoming a valley-wide resource for local businesses,” noted current president, Richard Stahl. “Todd’s commitment to the community is visible in everything he has done since moving to the area and we’re looking forward to his enthusiasm and leadership during this important time for our organization.”

Born and raised in southern Idaho, Todd spent most of his career outside the state. “My wife and I were very much looking forward to moving back to Idaho for several years and chose the Wood River Valley for the beauty of the area and its people,” Todd enthused.  “It’s been a significant life-change for our family, but everyone has been so welcoming and supportive, we truly love being a part of this community.”

Todd will begin his duties as vice president at The Chamber’s regular board meeting in August and will take over as president in January, 2018.
