Ketchum, ID — March 29, 2016 — The Sun Valley Center for the Arts will conclude the 2015–2016 Lecture Series with the highly anticipated return of David Sedaris to the valley on Monday, April 25. The NPR humorist and bestselling author will speak at 8pm at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater in Hailey.

Known for his sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, Sedaris is one of the most renowned humor writers in the United States. He is the author of many acclaimed personal essay collections—including Naked, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls—and has also written several plays in collaboration with his sister, Amy Sedaris. His pieces appear regularly in The New Yorker and have twice been included in “The Best American Essays.” He is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.
