The Land Trust is thrilled to bring Ben Goldfarb, independent environmental journalist and author, to the Valley. Ben will be speaking at the Community Library in Ketchum on April 4th, at 6:00 pm. His most recent book, Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter, has been called “a masterpiece of a treatise on the natural world” by the Washington Post. His writings on beavers have also been mentioned by NPR, Boston Globe, The Seattle Times, and National Geographic. Ben will be speaking on the importance of beavers within our environment, and how these animals can help us fight drought, flooding, wildfire, extinction, and the ravages of climate change.
