Name: Sun Valley Writers' Conference Lawn Talks
Date: July 22, 2019
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM MDT
Welcome to the Sun Valley Writers' Conference, where, for four days, SVWC writers and readers laugh and learn, hike and talk, and stretch the limits of their imagination. The days are filled with books, ideas, stimulation and fun. Extraordinary writers and thinkers talk with an engaged audience about their work, the world, and discuss why literature matters. Be a part of the experience by joining us at 4:00 PM Monday, July 22 on the lawn of the Sun Valley Pavilion to hear a performance by the Chamber Singers of the Los Angeles Children's Chorus titled "I Raise My Voice." Following that performance at 5:30 PM will be speaker Mitch Landrieu, Author and Former Mayor of New Orleans, delivering a talk titled "E Pluribus Unum: How a Divided America Can Win the Future by Finding Common Ground." You do NOT need to reserve spots in advance for Lawn Talks. Gates will open for access 30 minutes prior to the first talk each day. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 208-726-5454.
