Date: April 23, 2016
Time: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM MDT
Event Description:

The Wood River Community Seed Library will present an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 23rd, at The Community Library's Lecture Room, from 3-5:30 pm.  This Seed, Garden & Local Food Expo will feature local groups, music and foodies -- as well as a seed exchange.  This event also marks the 2016 opening of The Wood River Community Seed Library, and there will be free seeds available to those interested in local seed saving efforts.
The Expo will start off from 3-4 pm with healthful foodies by Nourish Me, locally brewed beverage by Sun Valley Brewery and music by local singer/songster Taul Paul.  Info tables staffed by Edible Gardens, Idaho's Bounty, the Environmental Resource Center (ERC), the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance and the Hunger Coalition will offer a chance to learn about local efforts to sustain and distribute food locally.  From 4-5 pm, each organization will present briefly about their efforts and answer questions.  5-5:30 will be a festive wrap up!
