The WRMS National Junior Honor Society fundraising event.

Once upon a time, the National Junior Honor Society wanted to make a difference in our community by hosting a special event for children. On Saturday, March 7th, Wood River Middle School (WRMS) National Junior Honor Society students are hosting a Princess and Prince Party for boys and girls ages 3 - 10 to raise money for their WOW project, called “Books for Babies”. The money raised will be given to the Community Library which will provide a gift bag with a brand new board book (English or Spanish) to every infant born at St. Luke’s Medical Center in the Wood River Valley. The American Academy of Pediatrics recently recommended that parents should read to babies beginning at birth. This is a great gift to children and families to increase early literacy in our community. The cost for each princess or prince is $10 which includes games, crafts, nail and face painting, and cookie and crown decorating. There will also be a royal raffle for a $1 a ticket and an opportunity to get a picture with a prince or princess.
