Middle School Choice: Hemingway STEAM and Wood River Middle School Open Houses for Parents and Students Blaine County School District offers two great choices for middle school: Ernest Hemingway STEAM School and Wood River Middle School. Ernest Hemingway STEAM School offers an innovative 21st Century education, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The school offers innovative elective courses and World Languages. Ernest Hemingway STEAM School will expand to 8th grade in the 2019-20 school year. Wood River Middle School offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes World Languages and Dual Immersion. Elective courses and extracurriculars include art, music, technology and athletics. Both schools have wonderful opportunities for our children. Transportation is provided for middle school students living in Ketchum, Hailey and Bellevue for both middle schools.
