The Pioneers Alliance is funding this seven-day work project, which will be held Aug. 21-27. Participants will hike into the Little Wood Outfitters’ base camp at Grays Creek from the Mormon Hill trailhead on Sunday, Aug. 21. Little Wood Outfitters’ chefs will prepare meals. Workers will refurbish trails 173, 171 and 170, rebuilding trails through muddy areas, cleaning sluffs from the trail tread, and logging with crosscut saws. Participants will need to bring their own sleeping bags. They will camp at base camp so no tents will be necessary. Please review our Volunteer Manual. Tools and food will be at the camp. There will be long day hikes to the work projects. The party will hike back out on Saturday, Aug. 27. Maximum number of volunteers: 7

Fees/Admission:
Because this is a week long supported project, ITA requires a $50 per person refundable deposit to secure your spot. This will help us ensure that everyone who registers is well-intentioned and we will not have to bear the costs of last-minute cancellations. By submitting this registration, you agree to donate the deposit if you cancel with less than 2 weeks notice.
