Event Description:
The Environmental Resource Center (ERC) will be open during Ketchum’s Gallery Walk on Thursday, December 29 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm to display an exhibit focused on the impact of climate change on several local animals. The exhibit highlights the current threats snowshoe hares, clark’s nutcrackers, wolverines, and sockeye salmon face due to a changing snowpack and will also feature hands-on opportunities for participants to learn a little bit more about local winter tracking and birding. Stop by and speak with ERC staff to learn more about the ERC’s Winter Tracking and Winter Birding Workshops, sign up for one of these programs, or be entered to win a 2016-2017 BCRD Nordic Pass.
