Event Description:

Contra-Dance on Saturday evening with band and caller "Strings Attached", 7 to 9 pm.  Teenagers and Grange members pay $10. Free for accompanied kids 12 and under. Attendance is limited to 70 people. Tickets will be available at the door unless we sell out. 

The string band from Twin Falls will be on stage with their contra-dance caller David Quinley. Contra dance is a lively type of folk dance involving social interaction between a long line of dancers. It is an activity for all ages and no partner is necessary. Singles are welcome. Beginners are welcome as all the steps will be taught. First and foremost, the event  is about people and community. It is about meeting new friends, socializing, dancing and having an enjoyable experience together!

The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with an optional potluck dinner. Gluten-free participants are welcome and should label their dish. Every guest is invited to bring wholesome food to share, as well as their own plate, fork and water bottle. Dancing will begin at 7:00 and end at 9:00 pm.

Tickets are $15 and will be on sale at the Wood River Sustainability Center, 308 South River Street in Hailey, and at the Bellevue General Store, 410 S. Main Street in Bellevue, and at NourishMe, 151 Main Street N. in Ketchum.
