Build It! is a 3-day architectural experience for kids ages 11-16 hosted by local architects. July 11-13 from 1-4 PM. $100; full and partial scholarships available. Day 1 - learn the history of architecture, including pyramids, tipis, igloos, and more! Day 2 – design and draw structures and make a 3-D floor plan with blocks/walls of cardboard. Day 3 - create a model town with streets, parks, houses and businesses using the children’s own structures. Scholarships courtesy of the American Institute of Architects – Idaho Mountain Section.
