Event Description:
The Sun Valley Center for the Arts is offering adult artists an opportunity to brush up on figure drawing skills during a series open studio sessions at The Center in Hailey. The open studios are scheduled for Tuesdays, October 6 and 20, and November 4 and 18 from 6:30 to 8:30pm and are open to all experience levels.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for experienced and novice artists to come together and practice their figure drawing skills,” said Sarah Kolash, Education Coordinator.
During these informal sessions, The Center will provide the studio space and a live model, but no formal instruction. In addition to drawing, figure drawing can be incorporated into painting, printmaking, mixed media and more. “It gives artists a chance to be loose and to go with the flow, while also being stimulated at the same time.”
