Event Description:
The Smithsonian’s traveling exhibition “Hometown Teams” is coming to Hailey! The exhibit will be open July 26th through September 6th and will be located at Hailey’s Interpretive Center in the Welcome Center next to the rodeo grounds.
Real-life hometown teams are reflected in film and television, visitors will open DVD cases to reveal the real teams, towns, and stories behind some of the most famous sports movies like the Milan (Indiana) High School basketball team that inspired Hoosiers. The exhibit also has an interactive element that will show visitors how sports imagery emerges in our language.
